New Clean Energy Conversations Blog
I just launched a new blog, Clean Energy Conversations (aka Nerding Out About Clean Energy), which shares clean energy enthusiasts’ stories about adopting solar, wind, energy storage, electric vehicles, hydrogen and other forms of clean energy. The goal is to help others learn from the stories and make decisions about deploying renewable energy and electric vehicles.
The first blog was about my experiences with three different electric vehicles: the VW eGolf, Tesla Model 3 and Nissan Leaf Plus. Read the story: Now a Leaf Owner, What I Miss About My Tesla.
Coming up is a story about the choices people have when solar isn’t right for their roof. I cover community solar and utility green power programs.
Another upcoming blog is a piece about how my brother’s windpower dream was foiled by a number of factors–including utility demand charges that made the wind turbine uneconomical. Follow the blog: Clean Energy Conversations.
I’ll also be posting photos like the one above that illustrate the beauty of our earth. My hope is to help preserve these beautiful areas and the wildlife they support by writing about and encouraging people to adopt clean energy. This award-winning photo, of Lake Owyhee in Oregon, is by Bob Davidson. Visit him at Call of the Turtle.
You’ll be seeing more from Bob, who has a Ph.D in environmental philosophy and has strong opinions about how to address climate change.
